You have a dream, you're focused and ready, nothing can stop you. You are going to change the face of the lettings industry forever, if only you could get those first few market appraisals, a chance to show how good you really are...

A short while later, you feel like celebrating, you've made it, you have made your first few landlord appraisals, you have challenged the fear of your first few calls or networking events or even got some results from your adverts, but to make this work you need more leads, more calls, more landlords, what do you do next? How do you scale this up?

How will you get enough landlords to come to you to build a business, to get enough landlords through the door that want to work with you, to choose you over the competition? You know that you will give great service, you care, you want to give, but you just need a few leads to get you going, but where do you start?

The temptation and the natural 'trap' with marketing that many fall into here, is to try to do what everyone else does, the big boys, the agents that have been around for many years. 'Let's just do what they do and then we will get the same results' I have heard said many times, and this has been the death of many new starts, because unfortunately the same results is very rarely the case.
