Online lettings agency LetMe launches new landlord platform

LetMe, an online letting agent, has launched a new service which gives landlords free listings on Rightmove and Zoopla. Landlords can use the service to advertise their properties at zero cost.

LetMe was launched last year and is looking to shake up the lettings industry. There are two sides to the LetMe concept, firstly they have created a way for landlords to rent out their property entirely risk-free. Secondly, LetMe have eliminated the upfront costs associated with moving into a rented property by allowing tenants to move in for free.

LetMe offers landlords a full management package, which includes 12 month’s rent in advance and guarantees the condition of their property on the tenant’s departure. This means landlords don’t need to worry about rent arrears, property damage or void periods. Landlords who choose to list their property for free are under no obligation to rent out their properties through LetMe.

Sam Wells, CEO at LetMe, says: “We’ve torn up the lettings industry, given it the Sillicon Valley treatment and started again. We’ve turned an old, stale and cumbersome process into a fast, efficient and radical solution that puts money straight into the pockets of landlords. We’re the first agency in the UK to make letting property completely risk free and pay 12 month’s rent upfront; this is a game-changer.”
