Fourth building at IQL in Stratford approved

Planning approval has been given for the fourth office building at the International Quarter London (IQL) in Stratford.

The new building by JV partners Lendlease and LCR in Stratford will create 280,000 sq ft of new workspace across 10 storeys.

Jonathan Emery, managing director property (Europe) at Lendlease, said: “Momentum is truly building at International Quarter London and achieving planning permission for our S9 building is another exciting step forward for the development.

“Completing our second residential tower at Glasshouse Gardens in May and seeing our first two commercial buildings take shape is a testament to the pace of change happening in Stratford.”

The first commercial tenant, Transport for London, has already been signed and they will move in to their new office in September.
