House prices in France rose by 1.5% according to the government’s latest house price index for the second quarter 2022.
In Q2 2022, the house prices in metropolitan France continued to rise: +1.5% compared to the previous quarter, after a 1.4% rise in Q1. Prices improved at a faster rate for new dwellings, up 3.2% on Q1, while they only increased by 1.3% for second-hand dwellings during the same period.
Year-on-year, the rate of price growth for French property was 6.7%, down from a 7.0% annual rise in Q1.
